1. Scope and Provider
These Terms of Service govern the use of CVKite, operated by NetVing GmbH, Tal 44, 80331 Munich, Germany ("Provider"). CVKite is an AI-powered resume builder that helps job seekers create professional, job-targeted application materials.
2. Services
CVKite provides the following services:
- Creation and management of resumes in various templates
- AI-assisted text generation, optimization suggestions, and writing assistance
- Export of resumes as PDF, DOCX, and JSON Resume
- Job description analysis and automatic resume-job matching
- Cover letter creation and application document management
- Application tracking and activity management
3. AI Disclaimer and Liability for AI-Generated Content
CVKite uses AI technologies (including models from Anthropic and OpenAI) to generate text suggestions. Users are required to carefully review all AI-generated content for accuracy, completeness, and suitability for the intended application purpose before use.
The Provider assumes no liability for:
- The factual accuracy or suitability of AI-generated texts
- Application outcomes resulting from the use of the platform
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI outputs
- Hiring decisions made by employers based on created documents
AI features serve exclusively as a support tool. The user bears full responsibility for the content of created documents.
4. Registration and User Account
Registration is required to use CVKite. Users agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Access credentials must be kept confidential. The Provider must be notified immediately in case of suspected unauthorized use.
The Provider reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
5. Usage Rights and Intellectual Property
Users grant the Provider the right to process entered data for the purpose of providing the services. All content created by the user remains the user's property.
The CVKite software platform, including source code, design, and brand names, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed, or derived without express written permission.
6. Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements. By registering, users consent to the Privacy Policy.
7. Cancellation and Account Deletion
Users may permanently delete their account at any time in Settings under "Delete Account". All stored resumes, applications, and personal data will be removed in accordance with the deletion periods specified in the Privacy Policy.
The Provider may terminate the user relationship with immediate effect if the user violates these Terms or misuses the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Provider shall not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss to the extent permitted by law. Liability for ordinary negligence is excluded unless essential contractual obligations are breached.
The platform is provided "as is". The Provider makes no warranty of uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors.
9. Changes to Terms
The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms with appropriate notice. Users will be notified by email of material changes. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Munich, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
